The DRAW for the Quarter Final line-up has been announced for Tuesday 13th December for the CUP competition, and an innovative new format planned for later in the Festival week.

The eagerly awaited Draw has been announced with the following line-up;-

In the top half of the draw;-

Grey College (South Africa) v Trinity College (England).

St Michael’s College (Ireland) v Cardiff and Vales College (Wales)

With the winners progressing to play each other in the CUP Semi Final 1.

In the bottom half of the draw;

Sedbergh School (England) v  Millfield School (England)

Hamilton Boys’ High School (New Zealand) v TBC

Hamilton Boys’ High School’s opponents would have been Ratu Kadavulevu School (RKS) from Fiji.

Unfortunately they had to withdraw from the due to the country’s educational external schedules, which impacted on the Squad with 16 of their players becoming unavailable to attend because of their examinations on the proposed week of the tournament. The examinations were moved as a consequence of covid impacting term times in 2022.

But the importance for RKS to be involved in he global showcase, they have managed to sent 14 players to join the Odyssey Squad playing in the Open Trophy competition, and bring the Fiji magic to the WSF in 2022.

A replacement is for RKS is being finalised, with a reserve team ready if required.

But all eyes will be on the Quarter Final match ups and huge clashes cross the board.

The Kick off times will be announced early next week, with all Matches being streamed LIVE on RugbyPass You Tube channel.
