The Odyssey World Select has evolved from a Boys XVs invitational team founded in 2022 to having Boys & Girls 7's teams and a Netball squad participating at the Abu Dhabi World Schools Festival in 2024.
In 2022, we were delighted to have Wessel du Plessis (Bulls U20 Head Coach), and Mark Mapletoft (England U18 backs coach) running the squad. In 2023, Sean Graham (Nudgee College Director of Rugby), Katleho Lynch (St Johns College), and Andy Martin (Tanglin Singapore Head Coach) ran the 2 squads.
The Classes of 2022 and 2023 embodied everything the Odyssey experience was set up to be – creating lifelong friendships worldwide through rugby.
Now, Odyssey embarks on another journey with 7's and Netball.
